Where I will publish

Reviews will be published in full on this blog and on Goodreads. I will also post a snippet on Instagram (@inkedyarn) and Twitter (@inked_yarn).

I do not currently post reviews on Amazon.

When I will publish

This one could get a bit tricky. :/

I am currently working full-time, studying part-time, and freelancing, on top of being a one-woman band on this blog (which I don’t get paid for). However, if you have specific dates that your review needs to be published on, just let me know.

I try to publish at least two book reviews a month.

Rating System

I like to keep things simple in this area. I aim to be completely honest about how I feel about the books I choose to review, no matter the star rating.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Excellent! I love it and would definitely recommend it to everyone I’ve ever met.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Great! I enjoyed it but there were a few missing elements (for me!). I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

⭐⭐⭐ – Good! I enjoyed certain aspects of it but others weren’t so great. I’d recommend it with caution.

⭐⭐ – Okay! It just wasn’t for me but I will still keep things fair in my review. I won’t be too harsh but I might not recommend it.

⭐ – Nope. Just no. I will not recommend it. This could be for any number of issues that I will talk about in my review.

DNF – If I did not finish a book, I will not give it a star rating. I may not write a full review for it but I will write a short post highlighting what didn’t work for me.

A book is a gift you can open again and again …
